  在自然灾害监测方面,我省目前已经建成了由南昌、吉安、赣州3部世界先进的多普勒天气雷达、宜春新一代数字化天气雷达组成的雷达监测网,89个地面气象站、118个中尺度自动气象站、12个雷电监测仪、2个高空观测站、2个太阳辐射站、2个酸雨观测站、11个紫外线监测仪、6个农业生态环境监测站、7个卫星接受站和1个卫星遥感中心,形成了天地一体化的气象及次生灾害监测系统;107个水文站、59个水位站、704个雨量站组成的水文监测网;1个省级地质环境监测总站、6个地(市)级分站、146个省级监测点和881个县级监测点组成的专业监测与群测群防相结合的地质灾害监测网;3个专业地震台、7个地方地震台组成的地震观测网; 225个森林火险瞭望台组成的森林火险观测网。在省减灾委的综合协调下,这些隶属于各个灾害管理部门的监测台站正在逐步实现灾害数据和信息资源共享,初步建立了气象灾害、水旱灾害、地质灾害、地震、森林火灾、农林病虫害等各类主要自然灾害监测网络,并依托气象、水利等部门基本形成了集有线、移动通讯和计算机广域网构成的覆盖全省、集中控制、分级管理的自然灾害综合监测体系。该体系的建成标志着我省自然灾害监测预警的能力和水平有了显著提高,对指导避灾和减灾应急工作发挥了至关重要的作用。
